The rear window zipper on my 2001 Rodeo Sport needs replaced. Top portion of the zipper is OK as is the slider, but the end tab has come off. Window is fine, it's just the zipper. I took it to one upholstry place who measured the zipper at 6 feet (72 inches) but said he couldn't locate a zipper this length, finding longer ones and shorter.

Any suggestions?

The top is in great shape so I'm no where near needing to replace it. Tried to find a source for a replacement window only, but everyone said they had complete tops only.

I purchased my top used and I could never get the back window out. If you fold the top down the window still in it will still be fine. I've been doing this for 4 years without issues. Others that do this also have stated that they put a cardboard tube in it and then fold it down.

Give it try and see what you think.
