OK, well in the next couple of months i'm looking to buy a Meredes SLK, but i have been comparing the prices in America and the UK (i'm currently in the UK) and its almost half the difference (well on ebay.com) compared to ebay.co.uk, as its cheap to purchase one in America i was wondering if its worth shipping it over, so i would like to know;

if its the best option,
if so how much would shipping cost roughly,
How long will the proces take?
what other documents/costs will i encounter


i've checked it out and i have seen that you can get a check done on the car for 175GBP in America to make sure its all working etc
