94 Duster Hesitates Occasionallyezab42481 09-19-2007, 11:14 AM Once and a while while driving my Duster 2.5 automatic I will be giving it gas and it just seems to bog down. It stays running just seems to have no power. I checked the codes and all I pull is the O2 sensor. I doubt the O2 sensor is making it run this bad. Any suggestions of what else to check? taillight 09-19-2007, 12:49 PM If you have 100,000 miles on the car it is time to change the O2 sensor anyway. Yes the O2 sensor will do that. squeaky3 09-19-2007, 07:46 PM could that be the same reason i dont seem to have much power when i accel at any speed it just seems like i dont accel very fast or nething, even when i have it floored it doesnt seem like it accels that fast could it be that or could it be becuz of the 3spd auto trans in it?? taillight 09-20-2007, 08:40 AM squeaky3 pull your trouble codes and see what the computer does not like first. squeaky3 09-20-2007, 01:14 PM ok i autozone will read the codes wont they? i dont have a reader that will read from a 94 i work for ford so i have access to a scan tool but they r for ford and the like i did have the check engine light flash on once in the spring but it only happened once so i didnt really worry about it to much thanks taillight 09-21-2007, 10:11 AM On a 94 duster you can pull your own trouble codes. Trun the ignition switch to on 3 times and leave it on the last time. Count the flashes. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
