Hi AF crew!

According to some, the accessory "chromed skid plate" cannot be attached to a 2003 model 4Runner.

I would like to have that on my ride though. Can it be done? Has it been done?

Thanks!

Seems like you could sand blast your skid plate and then take it to a plating shop to get it chromed. That would certainly fit. :)

I'm sorry, I just can't get past the "chromed" part of the equation.

A skidplate goes underneath the truck and takes the abuse when you wheel it. Why would one want chrome? Chrome justs rusts.

Sorry....here, i'll use the proper terminology for you so you can sleep better:

"anodized 3/16" aluminum"

There....are we ok with that? I could always just have said "shiney metal stuff". :loser:
