'82 Imsa Mustang

Hi guys, I'll like to heard something from you american enthusiast: I got from a friend a semi-assembled IMSA Mustang. I wondered to mill by myself a good couple of valvle covers for the V8......... shit! this car is equipped with a shitty L4.... it's very thiny with a lot of empty space around......

someone know something to say about this engine? it's a 1.7 litres, L4 twin cam (yep another good pairs of pulleyes :D) turbo for approx 500+ HP

any refs or info, friends?

Someone know if the engine is the same or derived from the Zakspeed Capri?

The car is the same IIRC

Before I sold the Tamiya kit, I was planning to get this kit to put the engine into the Zakspeed so I guess it works vice versa ;)

This car is the Zakspeed Capri with a Mustang body. It's not a bad model. At the time of release it was welcome because there was not much for the racecar enthusiast to build in plastic.

10:1 Layla's Keeper would be able to tell you about the engine's in these cars :)

I'm building the Monogram Motorsports Mustang. I'm doing it oob, just want a quick build. I'm almost done. I'm waiting for the body to fully dry before clear coating it. Yeah, it has a tiny 4 banger.
