There was no snow out this time. Just a lot of puddles where we broke through the 3-4" thick ice and needed a pull once in a while. On the way back, after "finding" a flipped truck on the trail a few of us chained up. That made driving up some icy inclines very uneventful. The amount of traction with chains on the front and rear tires while going through the ice bogs was incredible. Just idle through.:D

That looks like the kind of ice that took out Pikachu's truck. Good thing that Pathy in the front had some protection. Why do you think that Nissan was on it's side on flat ground? Was it stolen and ditched?

Looks like it's already getting pretty cold up there.

The 720 belongs to one of the guys that came out with the club. We're trying to deny all knowledge of the "flip" as it would make it difficult to attract new members to the club:p

He was actually on a slippery uphill off camber portion of the trail. Didn't see the actuall roll so I presume he gassed it a bit too much with those 33's and flipped it on the side. Drove it home too.

The weather is s little strange. Last week we set records for High temps in November. This was same area and trail 2 weeks ago Nov 9 trip (http://www.cn4xc.com/pg_nov09_02/thumb.htm)
