Can I use this amp to run my set of subs? And if so do I need to adjust the circuits in it? The person I traded it for said I might need to because he was running his 6x9's and front speakers off of it.

I don't know of any adjustments required .... that is a cheater amp.

expected power (I think I did the math right):

4X25 or 2X100 watts @ 4 ohms
4X50 or 2X200 watts @ 2 ohms
4X100 or 2X400watts @ 1 ohm
2X200 or 2X800watts @ .5 ohms
4X400 watts @ .25 ohms

Not really a good choice unless you are gonna multiple subs so you can load it down.

I am running two Rockford P3's and this is the amp I am currently using, would that Orion work better than this?

And what do you mean by cheater amp?

way back, a long time ago (probably before you were born), IASCA used to rate amps at their 4 ohm rating for placement into a category for competitions. That amps is rated at 100 watts RMS for all 4 channels but can easily put out 1000+

if it's in good shape, it's WAY better than anything MTX. The problem is gonna be loading it down to get the power out of it.

How in the world can I wire this thing to two subs to were I can get the most potential power?

get two subs that are dual 2 ohm and wire them in parallel, then bridge it so you have just 2 channels.
