84 Turbo Sunbird - No Throttle

Hi-
My 84 Turbo Sunbird will start and run at idle. When I give it gas, NOTHING happens. NO codes are being thrown. I disconnected the TPS sensor and started the car and it ran the same. I want to be sure that is the problem before spending the $50 to replace the TPS.
Any Thoughts?
