Okay. I bought a Jeep from the local Chrystler dealer. It had a 100,000 miles on it so there was no warranty given (they showed me the lemon law). Well I test drove the vehicle and the vehicle drove fine for the test drive. Well I bought it and took it home. Well on my way home I pushed the pedal right to the metal to open it up and make sure it wasnt gonna break down. While doing this it was almost like it had no power then I heard a clunk underneath like the transmission was engaging and then the jeep came out of it. Well since then it just has gotten worse. My email address is fairb100@canton.edu. My aim is dartimer2. You can reply on here or on there. I just need help. I dont know how to tell if the tranny is going or what. Please help me. ANYONE!

Sounds like it did - You are supposed to do that BEFORE you buy it, then they had to fix it.

What do you mean "and then the jeep came out of it"

I said it drove fine for the test drive and when I say it came out of it I mean it felt like it wanted to die and as I pushed the petal to the ground it forced it out of it. Then I heard a clunkl down underneath.

Mine did the same and then then the check engine light came on eventually and it cost me 1900 to fix the speed sensor in the tranny, do a full service and something to an axle...
