My wifes 99 JGC 4.0 with the quadtrac11 has started making a popping noise. When it 1st started it was only when you would apply the brakes now it's doing when you accelerate.It does not do this all the time but its getting worse.Looked all over the front everything looks fine check ball joints etc.Anyone have any ideas??Would it be O.K to remove the front driveshaft and see if it stops I suspect something internal in the Diff...Thanks Matt
