It looks kind of... well.... odd if you ask me. it is not a classic sports car style. :o

Extreme Supercars style :D
I love everything about it, and it's a Volkswagen, well, sort of.

I'm not too keen on the styling, not exactly to my tastes, but hey, it's all in the eye of the beholder...

As for the engine :D Note two turbochargers per engine bank

Bugatti is the God of automotive design, just like Enzo, but better! It was the saddest day of my life when I heard that Bugatti was no more! Now, VW is the New Owner of Bugatti, This is a fact that I have to get use to now. VW has several High Powered Exotic and may not be allowed to produce any more, IF This Effects Bugatti, I will be:angryfire . Mclarin F1 is going to lose to this car.
Jaguar XJ220 was fastest till Bugatti EB110SS, Now Mclarin F1 is fastest!
Mclarin F1 is going to be Second best,
Bugatti will return to the Top, where they will remain! Hope Mclarin can get use to that:flipa:

Lamborghini belongs to VW too (to Audi exactly). Rolls Royce also ! VAG is buying everything, but that's not a bad thing if they respect the english, french and italian tradition (Rolls, Bugatti, Lamborghini).
Not the same thing for Skoda or Seat (which are just VW with another badge) but that's not so exclusive cars !

styling is everything!

Power and styling are both important. I wouldnt take one without the other

Menu dei Motori

hmmm yea but we germanyy mostly prefer styling over power

crayzayjay
12-01-2002, 08:09 AM
I would have thought German priority would have been more on the car's engineering (power, efficiency etc) rather than the styling, which i associate more with Italian values!

Menu dei Motori
12-01-2002, 08:11 AM
well at first point we need good quality and comfort than styling and power!
normally we buy all together :D

Look at it this way. The very large majority of people who can afford to buy the best cars buy German. That to me proves they are the best, without a shadow of a doubt :)

That's true that if you want a good car for every day and you have enough money (more that 50 000 €), you'll buy a German car... and an Italian one for the WE :D
But under this price, some people do hesitate between Swedish, other Italian (Alfa, Lancia, etc.), and French car of course. ;)

Menu dei Motori
12-03-2002, 07:08 AM
well itīs only the image of bmw mercedes and porsche and audi...
they are not so good like all say... maybe a little better in quality.
they also have many problems with electronic and so on...

jsb88 : exact, it's a good summary !
American 4x4 have a very nice looking, particularly the Navigator and Durango.
And European cars are still the best with some japanese one (NSX, Impreza WRX).

People like to be individual, but i think if you let your head rule your heart you will choose a German car more often than not. Every time i think of buying an Integrale, i know its not a sensible choice! An E30 M3, on the other hand, makes a lot more sense even though its not my favoured choice...

I admit i dont know much about American SUV's but when it comes to

Off-road: excluding the Hummer, can anything beat a Range Rover or a Land Cruiser from the States?

On-road: the X5 and Cayenne are head and shoulders above the rest. Are there any American contenders? If there were i have a feeling i'd have heard their names thrown about, and i havent.

If im wrong, educate me :D

americans have the biggest.
