HOLAY shit i saw the new bond movie today and the db7 totally friggin rocked. it was damn invincible. lol anyone else see the movie yet? there was some kik ass driftage between the vanquish and the jag. it was so damn sad seeing that lambo and 550 maranello stuck in a rice patty though. any way tell me what you guys though. personally i thot it kicked ass.

I went and saw it today, the car scenes were cool :D

I loved the sound of those engines... so sweet :)

Another all around great Bond movie... Halle Berry didn't play a really convincing spy, I heard she is going to have some spin off movie or something? :( She looked damn fine in the movie tho :)

totally agree about the unconvincing but the rest of the movie rocked. i love the way those cars sound too and that bigass intake on the front of the DB7 is beautifully intimidating

Those cars stuck in the ground were pretty funny... I was the only person who laughed when Bond is talking to the cuban guy and asks for a fast car... then in the next scene he is driving that old Chevy (at least I think it was a Chevy)

You always see him in a sporty little car, not a huge classic like that thing :p

man that was beter than a chevy it was a caddy an old ass one kuz in cuba they havnt really got any new cars since the 50's kuz of the embargo and all so they just keep all of the old ones up and running. and actually from what i remember hearing those things are pretty strong lol.

I highly doubt that. Once a special edition or movie diecast series is licensed to one company, no one else will get their hands on it. I won the Bond Vanquish, and I think the detail is great.

those pics are cool but the one i saw was beautiful it was this nice dark blue and it was the actual producion model but no matter there were also alot of other car pics i lost evoVII rally, impreza rally, lambo's ferrari's well just about too many to name.

I saw one of the Vanquish's used in Die Another Day in Harrod's window last xmas along with the green XK8. They were both amazing, and in really good condition too even after filming.

And btw you can have a vanquish in any colour you want.

To restore facts!

We are talking about the Vanquish. It was the latest Bond car. He might confuse it with DB5-DB6 from older movies.

For the movie , Ford motor Company gave 7 Vanquish cars, 4 were transformed with Ford V8 motor and all-whell drive in order to install the missles etc, 3 were used for the driving scenes. From the 7 cars only 3 survived. A "hybrid" and 2 normal ones.

There were also 6 XKR' s,3 also converted(4-wheel drive, V8), there were only two left at the end!
