need info about s15 and s14 which is better?????????mauroeduran 09-13-2007, 12:35 AM i would like to kno which would be better including money and just space. also wouldlike to kno if the 240 is the only swap car is there other rwd cars to swap with????? .........thanks for all the help.......... MetalHeadZaid 09-13-2007, 08:11 AM uhh i dont know where to start here.... s14 and s15 run the same suspension, so they'll be very similar in how they handle. s14 is much cheaper so it's probably the best option. what do you mean by "swap car"? the 240's engine bay is big enough for plenty of engines, but the skyline, supra, laurel, cefiro, chaser ect are all just as good/better. there are also cars like the miata, levin, KP and older lancers which arent really known as swap cars, but things have been done..... the only limit to what you can swap in any car is your budget. mauroeduran 09-13-2007, 01:42 PM i kno many swaps can be done into many cars but i would like to know first off which car has the easiest swap space for a swap, and also which engine will performe the best......i ask this because to many poeple swap into 240's and i want to know if another car would be betteror the same. thanks for the help MetalHeadZaid 09-13-2007, 04:09 PM i kno many swaps can be done into many cars but i would like to know first off which car has the easiest swap space for a swap, and also which engine will performe the best......i ask this because to many poeple swap into 240's and i want to know if another car would be betteror the same. thanks for the help there are ALOT of variables that you arent considering when you ask me this question. there is no "best" swap car and no "best" swap engine. if you want to go around a twisty track quickly, want to drift, want to drag, or want to build a show car you'd do things differently. as much as i hate to admit it the best swap engine when considering price, performance, weight and size is probably the chevy LS1. the best swap car i would say is the R32 chassis because it comes standard 4WD, heavy stock engine, and alot of room. also out handles essentially every other nissan and competes with others like the supra. if you ask me what i would do for a good all around car it would be R32 chassis, VH45DE engine with the GTR sump spliced with the VH oil pan, and run a dry sump setup. reasons: r32's handle awesomely, this engine weighs less then the standard engine and is shorter, you have 4WD traction, 1000+ hp capacity and the biggest reason of all, the car will not be an imbred (uses all nissan parts). mauroeduran 09-14-2007, 01:44 PM thats wat i was looking for thanks but now how much would a r32 chassis run me$$$$$ and were can i get 1 do i have to import that???? mauroeduran 09-14-2007, 01:54 PM also i thought thr r32 chassis was rwd!!!!!!??????? vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
