Noobz QuestionKoDKingVegeta 09-12-2007, 10:08 PM Ok Iv been looking around but really couldn't find the answer I was looking for. So I will ask. When I went to put my Jeep into 4x4 it was kinda stiff. So I had to really pull on it, but finally got it. I checked all the 4x4 gears, they all work 100% so I went back to 2 wheel drive. And noticed my "Part Time" light was on. Which I new was my 4x4, but when I was in 4x4 the light never turned on. Untill after I got out of 4x4 and back into 2 wheel drive. Some ppl are saying to check above the front left tire. At the lines, most of the time its a vacumme line. Some say it just happens and wont turn off no matter what you try. I no for a fact that my Jeep is not in 4x4, I can tell the diff. Should I be worryed about this? Or just take the little light bulb out of the dash? reekor 09-13-2007, 10:41 AM On the top of the transfercase there is a switch that triggers the light, they do tend to crap out, just replaced one myself a weeks ago Ok Iv been looking around but really couldn't find the answer I was looking for. KoDKingVegeta 09-13-2007, 11:23 PM Well today at work I lifted my Jeep with the forklift stuck it in all 4x4 gears and they all worked, went back to 2 wheel drive, and only 2 wheels where spinning. I did this a few times and same thing everytime. So Im glad that my 4x4 isn't on all the time. So I will try that switch. citizen@large 09-15-2007, 04:03 PM I WANNA LIFT! whats a guy gotta do? geesh... vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
