One of my friends has a '93 Century with the 3.3 The car was poorly cared for through the years, but I must say that the motor sounds and performs very, very well. It's hard to say if the motor was taken care of by the previous owner(s) but it now has over 170k on the odo and it's still running strong for her. I recently flushed and refilled the cooling system in this car and I test drove it around the city for about 15 minutes to check for leaks later on, and it had excellant acceleration, smooth idle, and it ran very quiet. I might add that the engine is also much more powerful than chrysler's "early" 3.3 (during the late 80's and earlier to mid 90's when both were produced) BTW, I've yet to see ANY motor, new or old, blow up;)
