Cobra427 09-12-2007, 09:51 AM Problem is there is no hobby shops around here. Used to be one just down the road and they closed down this spring. They said I was really thier only customer. Its bad enough the local Wal-mart only really carrys snap ons and a small small selection of paint and plastic brushes. tigeraid 09-12-2007, 12:00 PM You painted that engine with PAINT MARKERS? Wow, can't believe it turned out so well, maybe I need to start using those for some parts... :icon16: Cobra427 09-12-2007, 12:02 PM Yep. I love them for detailing and engines. I just wish they made them with smaller tips. I was also feel'n a bit lazy lol. rsxse240 09-12-2007, 04:36 PM I use paint markers all the time. they work great for small parts, and some finer details. I usually use a silver paint pen by getting it "damp" with paint, and then wipe off the excess with a lint free paper/cloth towel, and it's great for drybrushing various raised details, if they are pretty tall, like valve cover fins, and "billet" grills, etc. Cobra427 09-13-2007, 12:48 AM not much done today.... was gett'n ready to start in when I decided to go get some flat black and some brushes..... still cheapo plastics but better than having just 1 lol. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v153/Cobra427/DSCF0130.jpg Cobra427 09-13-2007, 02:30 AM http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v153/Cobra427/DSCF0131.jpg Cobra427 09-13-2007, 12:22 PM http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v153/Cobra427/DSCF0137.jpg Related Links Participate in thousands of discussions at AutomotiveForums.com!
