I am new to modifying cars and this question is probably not going to make much sense but I still want to find out.
I drive a Nissan Almera Active 2001 1495cc and was wondering if I can improve the performance of it.
I have a few ideas in mind but not sure if it can be done to this particular car.
I have considered:
1. Re-mapping the engine (Use 'piggy back' device)
2. Installing Adjustable Power Boost Controller
3. Installing Turbo (not sure if that even makes any sense):uhoh:
As well as the above I will change the suspension, exhaust back box, filters etc.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Please don't judge to hard if the above doesn't make any sense.:smokin:

New exhaust including, extractors 2" exhaust and a new 'back box' should make a nice power increase and improve fuel economy a little.

Piggy back computers do not work well on such new cars as the computer in the car will compensate for the changes after a few hours driving and adjustable power boost controllers are rubbish as well.

A turbo kit is possible and will improve the midrange power of the engine a lot but it will cost a fair bit to install as it would all be custom.
