My 1993 4.3 just started to have very high idle. 1500 at startup and increasing as engine warms up. Looked for vacuum leaks, checked tps and iac. No other ideas except maybe intake manifold or gasket?

Check TBI gasket.

I agree w yukon! Carefully ck with carb cleaner or ether to find a bad gasket or leak CAREFULLY!I had a 4.0 jeep that did that & it was tpi senser.Good luck
