my stock 95 civic ex overheats anytime i go driving on the freeway for 30 minutes or more. it doesnt overheat if i drive around town for an hour, but will over heat if im doing 70mph for half an hour, then come to a stop. i drove from visalia to madera (about 1 hour) and it didnt overheat on the freeway, but started overheating when i got off the freeway at a stoplight. same thing when i drove to LA and Fresno. on the way home from madera it overheated while i was on the freeway doing 75. ive replaced thermostat, radiator cap, the fluid, i think thats it so far. PLEASE help! im going out of town again i need to know what to replace before i warp the head gasket (if i havnt already). thank you!!

are you losing coolant? check for leaks. also, do a radiator flush.. if it doesnt help, the rad might be really clogged and need to be replaced.

You might try testing your coolant temp. sensor to see if it is working properly. Then ensure that you rad. fan is working. I had overheating problems and it turned out that the wiring going to my fan was bad. So sometimes my fan would work and sometimes not.
