Honestly, my sisters cocky boyfriend just bought a WRX Wagon 5 speed. I personally think its F***ing G*Y. But thats my opinnion. He thinks his car can beat any honda out there. I got a 91 CRX Si, engine swap with a D16 DOHC ZC engine, They come stock with 135-140HP. I figure if I run a whole new exhaust, 4-2-1 headers, Intake, new pulleys, and chip it, maybe a few other things on it, I bet I could smoke him. Just wondering what everyone else thought of that. Do you think I could beat him? Excpecially if i run a very small amount of boost, say..6psi? I would run just a little over 200HP, and Im pretty dang sure i could beat somethin running 227HP I beleive, considering the CRX's are known for how light they are.

You're gonna run 4-2-1 headers and a turbo? Something tells me you're a little confused about your engine set up.

But yeah, a CRX putting out 200hp should beat a 227hp WRX considering the CRX is about 1000 lbs lighter.

So your are bragging about a theoretical race between a stock car and one that is modded? That sounds pretty f*cking g*y to me. I didn't buy my car because it was faster than a Honda. I bought it because I could smoke anything while driving on the ice. No more g*y ebrake Honda drifting for me.

If the dude really thinks his car is THAT fast he is an idiot. I would, however challenge most NA hondas to a drag race with little fear of losing.

How many miles do you have on the motor? I would bet that your car is no longer making anywhere close to stock power anymore at the age that it is at. You might have to do a little work to get it back to that point.

Save the money you would spend on mods and get a better swap maybe a B18c1,B18c5, or K20A2 and then put a Hondata Kpro with simple boltons and then you can really have fun.

Boosted Hondas can be WRXs and so can all motor Hondas...theyre really not that fast other than the launch. As for your theoretical race, i think youre the one being fucking gay in this whole thing, not him...
