Aoshima Nissan 350z675datsun 09-03-2007, 02:59 AM I am excited and upset at Aoshima's new Z33 kits. I should have used this kit to replicate my '06 Z33 but all i had at the time was the Tamiya version:banghead: Box art http://inlinethumb46.webshots.com/12141/2047034360101854788S500x500Q85.jpg (http://rides.webshots.com/photo/2047034360101854788kFMesj) Both kits are great, but RHD dashes only. Side marker lamps are molded in, and the "Z": emblem is also molded in. Decal sheet is identical for both. Differences between the kits: -Stock is molded in white, "Options" molded in Silverstone -Options kit includes TE37 wheels, splash guards, larger exhaust tips, JDM steering wheel, and clear tail lights and front markers. Beautiful stock '06 wheels http://inlinethumb32.webshots.com/15583/2645828550101854788S500x500Q85.jpg (http://rides.webshots.com/photo/2645828550101854788KxxWTP) http://inlinethumb29.webshots.com/13404/2001341190101854788S500x500Q85.jpg (http://rides.webshots.com/photo/2001341190101854788AdzswR) JDM steering wheel is awesome! http://inlinethumb08.webshots.com/11847/2826195040101854788S600x600Q85.jpg (http://rides.webshots.com/photo/2826195040101854788eqrbzH) http://inlinethumb14.webshots.com/12813/2273590880101854788S500x500Q85.jpg (http://rides.webshots.com/photo/2273590880101854788sGkDkN) Splash guards(I'm going to try and use these on my Tamiya kit!) http://inlinethumb56.webshots.com/13303/2260379670101854788S500x500Q85.jpg (http://rides.webshots.com/photo/2260379670101854788HdLNvQ) '06 Headlights, faithfulyl reproduced: http://inlinethumb05.webshots.com/14852/2559297750101854788S500x500Q85.jpg (http://rides.webshots.com/photo/2559297750101854788JmWwau) LED tail-lights are impressive, JDM clear lenses and USDM red: http://inlinethumb62.webshots.com/13885/2277551100101854788S500x500Q85.jpg (http://rides.webshots.com/photo/2277551100101854788faPQCl) http://inlinethumb50.webshots.com/15409/2981404300101854788S500x500Q85.jpg (http://rides.webshots.com/photo/2981404300101854788CckAqA) http://inlinethumb44.webshots.com/15403/2866293730101854788S500x500Q85.jpg (http://rides.webshots.com/photo/2866293730101854788SmaLDC) The body looks crisp, front and rear bumpers are separate peices, but what's cool is the separate hood! Ready for a VQ, RB, SR(gasp!) or VK swap. http://inlinethumb42.webshots.com/12073/2449221670101854788S500x500Q85.jpg (http://rides.webshots.com/photo/2449221670101854788KRyNEg) options kit includes larger "nismo" style exhaust tips http://inlinethumb10.webshots.com/12041/2830850020101854788S500x500Q85.jpg (http://rides.webshots.com/photo/2830850020101854788JkOaPy) Chassis is much more detailed than Tamiya's, yet rear suspension is still molded in. Exhaust system is separate, even has rear brace! Brembo style brakes are included. http://inlinethumb21.webshots.com/13396/2361179290101854788S500x500Q85.jpg (http://rides.webshots.com/photo/2361179290101854788nPcisk) http://inlinethumb61.webshots.com/13884/2184077890101854788S500x500Q85.jpg (http://rides.webshots.com/photo/2184077890101854788apCRBr) I am going to build the "options" kit box stock, most likely in Pikes Peak white. Stay tuned! Jaymes 09-03-2007, 03:31 AM this kit looks good. let's see it built up now :sunglasse Heihachi 09-03-2007, 04:17 PM cool :runaround: Fabbri_Guy 09-03-2007, 07:39 PM Yes very impressive kit, I received mine a week ago, I feel that this kit is even better than Tamiya's kit, for the reasons mentioned above. Aoshima really has improved on the quality of their kits, even to match Tamiya's quality. I just hope that they realease a sponcered z33 next ex:HKS, SIGNAL AUTO, VEILSIDE, TOP SECRET etc.. Sorry for the outburst, just thinking out loud while typing, lol! But very very nice kit to say the least! Mister_S13_2 09-04-2007, 05:37 AM in white? sounds awsum!! black bonnet? personally i thinks it would look hot,i reckon an SR20 swap would be perfect, as there are a few around with SR20's now, but a VQ/VG engine swap would be effing awsum, ill be whatching this 1 like a hawk G-man422 09-04-2007, 07:48 AM Keep us updated, this one is going to be good. patoffspyder 09-04-2007, 06:58 PM Those kits looks great. If I buy the Options kit, do I get the TE-37 and the stock Wheels, or only the TE-37? Thanks! 675datsun 09-04-2007, 09:08 PM Those kits looks great. If I buy the Options kit, do I get the TE-37 and the stock Wheels, or only the TE-37? Thanks! Options kit only comes with TE37s, no stock wheels. hAnGoOkNoM 01-05-2008, 02:25 PM Will you be using the stock 06 wheels? DjNightWolf 01-07-2008, 09:55 AM i already have a option 2005,very nice kit,i prefer these from aoshima instead of tamiya. wich color wich you paint? vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
