I cannot open my S70 doors with the key only the remote. Is there something I can do to fix this problem or is it the way the car is made to operate? I bought it used and it has always had this problem.

I had this problem last month. I took the door off and found out that the cable that attaches to the inside lever (cable plastic piece) broke. This piece locks the cable to the plastic bezel where the lever is located. Just my luck, I have another lock and cable to fix this issue. Take a look and see if this is the same issue.
