Hey guys,i have an '82 rx7 with a 12a and i was wondering if any other motors can be installed in this car. The 12a is carb so I am limited to carb motors?Also, i was looking at some rebulid options as well with kits from Atkins Rotary. I am an electrical engineer and I am mechanically inclined. So with that said....with a rebuild kit and some good DVD's and the support form you guys, I should have no problems right?Thanks for all your info.

if you want a direct swap you can try and source the japanese 12a turbo engine but it will prolly be hard to find

I know the 84s and 85s that had the 13b could take other 13bs
