92 jetta starts then stops right away

my 92 jetta 1.8 start then stops right away withen a couple seconds will start right away again. I have replaced cap wich was visually finished coil pin was missing i repalced fuel filter. i verified there is indeed spark ant there is fuel i only checked fuel at rail by removing line at pasanger side it pumps for i few seconds when ture the key on and pumps continuiosly well cranking.i would also like to know the firing order asuming pasager side is cyl 1 where is number one on cap cant see marks on distrbutor
