94 Q45 CD changer

My CD changer died, the 94 changer were the Sony 10 Disc CD Changer Model # CDX-5N67.

Does anyone know if there is a new Sony CD changer that will work (i.e. plug into the wire harness) with the factory radio? Or at least a cd changer that would work with minimal changes to the existing wires?

Unfortunately the Sony model has been discontinued however a direct factory fit replacement is the Clarion model CV-737 (6 disc changer). It simply plugs into the wiring harness where you unplug the Sony. Your best bet in finding either a Sony or the clarion replacement is on e-bay or try the NICO clubs forum. www.nico-clubs.com

Unfortunately the Clarion player is also discontinued.

Either Infiniti or Sony can refurbish the player. You will have to drill down with Sony as most CS reps don't know such an old moldel can be serviced. Be persistent and ahve the Sony (not Infiniti) part number and serial number handy.
