I removed the subwoofer box from under the seat to swap the subwoofer with a better one. The factor sub has 4 wires running to it. On one side its blue & white and on the other its red and black. The new sub has red and black wire inputs. What do I do with the blue & the white. There are no + or - signs on the factory sub.

I don't have the wiring diagrams for 2004. It sounds like the factory sub is a dual voice coil sub. Is the aftermarket replacement you have a dual voice coil? What is the recommended box size for the aftermarket, and is that ported or sealed enclosure? If you don't take all of this in to account, you may actually end up spending more for less sound quality.

I happened to have a brand new 8" Pyle Driver I didnt know what to do with. Its not dual voiced coil. I have put subs in my cars for years and never came across this.

I swapped the subs in the factory box. Combined red and white to one post and black and blue to the other.

That's a good way to burn up the factory amplifier. If the amplifier is getting a stereo signal and trying to provide a stereo amplified signal to a dual voice coil sub, you have now shorted the two amplifier outputs to each other. This is hard on the output transistors. Be prepared to replace the factory amplifier soon.

Your thread title asked for advice, I'll give it to you. ;) You'd actually be better off to leave one of the channels disconnected than to short them together.
