Hey guys im new to the scene and my 88 vert na is acting up out of no where it has an a/f gauge and it started reading that im running rich and i made the mistake and put 87 fuel (http://www.rx7club.com/showthread.php?p=7282741#) in it http://www.rx7club.com/images/smilies/wallbash.gif i filled it up with 93 now but its still running rich it also smells like a old muscle car (http://www.rx7club.com/showthread.php?p=7282741#) 9(best way to describe it) and now it sounds like my exhaust (http://www.rx7club.com/showthread.php?p=7282741#) is rattling and the car idles high well i think its high at 1100 or 1200 rpms and when i turn the car off it like ticks and makes the sound when metal cools and pops ??? any ideas thanks in advance

Turbo or non? Because if it's turbo all you need is a turbo timer. Or just keep running it till your sure all the carbons and waste fuel have been burned out or used. When all else fails take it to redline! ~ Gotta love rotaries...

umm 87 is the recommended fuel anyway (in the manual)

higher than 89 is a waste of money (for an n/a)
