Hello everyone,

I currently own a cb for my jeep but its a mobile that I have sort of converted into a car unit via a cigarett plug adapter and an antenna adapter and am using a mag mount antenna and seperate wired mic.

I like the fact of having a cb in the jeep but to hook and unhook this thing all the time is getting to be a p.i.t.a.

I was looking at a cobra cb at my local radio shack "Cobra® 40-Channel NightWatch™ CB Radio with SoundTracker Model: 29 WX NW ST" and am wondering overall how hard is it to rig up a cb in a 1999 jeep grand cherokee limited and I was considering for the antennas going with a dual whipper setup rigged to the roof rack.

I have only used mag mount antennas before so am also looking for advice/insight on what type of antenna setup to use as I do not want to use a wicked long 103" whip sort of deal. I was thinking more along the lines of the dual setup like most 18 wheelers use?

Any advice or insight would be great.
