Catalyst monitor error code.....?

ok so.. i install the boost gauge and drive it arond to test it, no cels. get home turn car off. leave again to my friends house later still no cels. i leave his house and i get half way home and i get a cel, the code is p1400 its a catalyst monitor error according to my obd2 scanner. what happend and how do i stop the cel i need an e check soon. please let me know what ever u can help me with. thanks in advanced

if you unhook the boost guage, and put it back the way its supposed to be, then reset codes does it stay off?

i will check and ill get back to u on that. but if it does stay off when i undo the boost gauge whats wrong.. y cant i keep it on and not get a cel. or how do i get it to stay off the comptuer bc i need a e check and they will find it.
