Hi everyone, I have a 1993 Jeep Cherokee Country and I was using a battery operated air compressor, when suddenly it stopped and after that the radio and the cigarette lighter stopped working.
I checked the fuses and al seems to be ok, can some one tell me how can I troubleshoot this problem?

Thanks Guys

The radio and cigar lighter are on fuse no. 2.

Use a voltmeter to see if you are getting battery voltage with the key on.

Thank you for your help, I was able to find out which fuse was bad, and I have to tell you that the owner manual wasn't helpful at all. The bad fuse was under the dash on the driver side, a little hectic to get down, but I fix the problem thanks again.

Also, the temperature cage looks like it loves to hang up there near the red mark, I change the thermostat to a 195 rated to degrees, I think the problem is electric as well, man I got 130,000 miles and my jeep still excites me, but as you can see it starts to get a little old :)
Thanks again

The stock thermostat is supposed to be 195 deg.

Check the fan clutch and the condition of the radiator. Normally, the reading on the gage is 210.

I had installed a new radiator and a new condenser not to long ago, I don't even think I have 3000 miles on them yet, but I have to tell you something, even b4 I start my jeep after being not used all night the temp gage reads 100 degree, I think that I should manually re position the needle to ZERO and take it from there, what you think? I know that this is a primitive solution but I'll never know if my jeep is overheating as it is right now, and I checked the temperature of the cooling fluid as the gage was reading extremely hot and the handheld thermometer was reading 195 degrees, so I'm assuming I have a false reading on the temp gage.
Thanks again

Yes, you can use a thermometer to calibrate your gage. Or it could be a bad sender.
