Limp Mode

It's a 1991 dodge daytona shelby.
The car seems to be in limp mode. Whenever you try to accelerate it wont go past 3500 rpms.
We checked all four cylinders. 1,3, and 4 put out 100 psi whereas 2 put out 120 psi.
the oil wasn't milky and the radiator didn't bubble (which is what someone had told us would signal a problem with a gasket)

So now the car's in limp mode. We did the code check and no check engine light came on, so it's not a MAP sensor problem.

Anybody know what to do?

We put in all new spark plugs (after breaking the two other new ones, did compression testing on all four cylinders, and put in new coolant):banghead:

Your compression sounds real low. Do another compression test with a different guage and the engine warm. If compression stays low do a cylinder leakage and see where you are loosing compression.

ok.

we did another code check and only a disconnected battery thing came up, which is what we did.

so that turns out ok. and he (warren) is driving it right now.
so we'll see if it's still in limp mode.

On a test drive today the car started out in limp mode and then magically the turbo started spooling (spelling?) up and it was over boosting as usual.

its now leaking some blue fluid that apparently doesn't smell like windshield washer fluid.
problem?

If the turbo is over boosting, you have a waste gate that is not working. The computer see that and shuts everything down so you do not burn up the engine. You need to check out the turbo and the waste gate.
