My wife has the 93 civic, her park lights and dash light (same fuse) keeps blowing, I know its grounding out somewhere!! I unplugged the harness from both park lights and taillights, and unplug the alarm, she has turn signals and headlights,I tried to put a fuse in and it still blows after unpluging everthing..I'm lost..I think its in the switch!! I thought about going to the salvage yard to get another switch (cheap route) just to see if thats it. So what u think? :banghead:

i think you have a short somewhere.. depending on who installed the alarm, that whered i be suspicious of a short.. ive seen some sotty wiring with alarms..

well i hate to say it but...i installed the alarm 2 years ago, im pretty good with alarms, radios and amps(not saying i cant mess up) but this is weird, first it was her reverse lights, the socket came out of the light and when my wife closed the trunk she broke the bulb. and it blew a fuse(the two elements in the bulb touch) i replace fuse and bulb, but now these taillights, park lights and dash lights got me!!! (same fuse) they are on a different fuse then the reverse lights..its just weired!! i got to hurry up and get it fixed so i can keep her out of my Tahoe at night!!!

i wasnt saying that you didnt install the alarm right, i wasnt sure who did, and ive seen "professional" shops turn a car into a rolling fire hazard.. i would inspect the wire where she closed the trunk one the bulb to make sure she didnt pinch it, tear it, or of the short melted it.
