well i was giving my room mate a ride home and there was a neon in front of me well i signal and go to pass him and as i pull even with him he starts taking off we are going 45-45 while im passing him when i pull even with him he just speeds up well i drop it into 3rd and just pull on him. i knew he was racing cause his exhaust is going louder and louder.

So i went o the lot & they said i could probably get the Neon without much problem ~~ SO, i told them i hated the Neon etc... etc...

But i wanted a car ~ SO, i got the little piece if sh**

I ABSOLUTELY HATE IT!!

I did not know it was a 4 cylinder car & i have never driven a 4 cylinder car that was mine anyway ~~ HATE IT!! i travel on the rod alot, extensively & this little piece of SH** will not get me there how i want to go!!

i talked to the Manager & other people there, they say they will check the mechanical problem, which was the RPM rivvin up etc but that is about all they can do...


I AM STUCK for two years paying alot of money for this Little piece of SH**!!

Does ANYONE know how i can get our of this car w/out having it repossessed...I am at my wits end!

Actually I want to thank you guys who let me be a part of this forum, the honda/acura forum. I have a lot of respect for hondas and acuras, well some of them. Some just suck. Not saying there arent any crappy neons because there are a buttload. When i was just learning about cars I always wanted a civic just because they were badass and can be fast as fuck, but i chose a neon because i wasnt much for the imports. My family have always drove american cars thats just the way it is. My dad has a 70 cuda in the garage along with my moms dodge sratus R/T. In the driveway there is my dads brand new 2002 dodge ram with the 20s. Its badass. However my sister drives a cavalier. Shes dumb. Like i said my family has always driven american cars.
I know when i first posted on this forum I was laaughed at and was told to go to the neon board. But the truth is no one over there talks. It sucks. I have learned alot here on the honda/acura forum. Not only about hondas and acuras but everything that has to do with them ( ie.. turbos, nos, sound everything.) it makes me want a honda so badly but now i have a dodge neon that could kill about any car that i wanted to. Heck I would take a toyota supra or rx7 anyday over my neon.Now dont get me wrong i know there are some cars out there that would whoop my ass but hey I am only 17 a senior in high school and I have one of the fastest cars in my city, ( not in my school, though, there is a 68 nova that whoops my ass everytime.) And I am still learning new things everyday, learning things that can make my car faster ( except nos i dont want to mess with that shit) My best time so far is 11.9@117mph and i have only been to the track twice. I know if i wanted to i could make my car run low 11s but choose not to because i have put alot of time and money into my car and dont want to lose it just yet. I dont want to push it too hard and blow the engine or something. Again i just want to thank everyone that has accepted me into the import world with my 11sec neon.

A normal person is someone who, when faced with a question like his, either 1.) Answers it to the best of their knowledge, 2.) Points him in the right direction so he can find and answer, or 3.) Shuts the hell up if all they're going to do is curse him out and start an argument because he made a MISTAKE and posted something in the wrong forum. That's normal. Well seeing you have no real performance mods the same goes for you jackass.

First of all what makes it non mod friendly is the fact that you add I/H/E and you gain like 5 horses out of all of them because of the OBD3 computer. I can put money down that his car will never be faster then any of my cars. I have been working on my car for a year and a half and there is much to show for it. Who said the list in my sig is my list of mods? I never said the oil cap was a mod? Even if I did let's think about the word "mod" is it not true that if it is not stock then it is modified? Is the oil cap stock? Yeah that's what I thought shut your un-schooled mouth. I understand that their are other forums for people to go to but you don't have to be an ass to them. If you knew anything about tuning them you would know that the 7th gens are nothing like the 5th gens so inturn if I rip on a 7th gen it is no way making fun of my own car.

I never said that an aftermarket oil cap wasn't a mod. I just can't beleive you listed it in your sig. If this isn't all of the mods in your sig please inform us of all of them. I highly doubt you would have a supercharger and list an oil cap before that got on the list.

Everyone and their mother knows that 7th gens are slow. This makes it more of a challenge to get it to go fast. But there are 7th gens out their that run 11's on the D17 engine.

All of the codes have not been cracked yet to be able to mod a 7thgen. 5th gens started out the same way. It takes time to get aftermarket parts to work. Give me 7years to work on a car and have aftermarket products produced, then we will see how fast a 7thgen is. That is such an ignorant comment about how all of your cars are faster than mine. When I get mine done we will see if you are right.

Oh ok so it is not running 11's N/A it is running nitrous. Plus this thing is pretty much full race. It even has a Carburator that is still bad ass that someone would do that and it is pretty quick but now it is not streetable. If you want to do that go for it man Props to the 7th gens. All's I got to say is have fun with the car and remember before you rip on someone else look at your own thing.

This setup costs $5,000. His car was dynoed at 230 hp to the wheel without the nitrous.

They are called individual throttle bodies. A good mod for throttle response and getting optimum power out of an engine.

I have great news the reason why i wanted to get rid of it was cause i had no job to fix it up while today my grandma and grandpa said theyll buy me a motor and tranny http://www.jdmhondaparts.com im gonna get a h22a obd1 it has 190 hp and 151 pounds of torque i know my handling is gonna go to shit but im into dragging right now later when i get a job and stuff im gonna get a car some some drifting or scca racing. i know the newer h22a's or better but im broke and im not paying for it so im gonna just be happy with all that torque. the main difference was that one has 10.6 compression and the type s has 11.0 and probably some different ecu programming. i told my grandma that the stock intake and header and exhaust will probably not fit she said that she will buy me some new ones as christmas gift . i know im so lucky but bad thing she said not for christmas gifts till im 21 lol i dont mind im just thanking god im getting what im getting. now im gonna stop talking before this post becomes a book.
