I need to replace the leaking fuel tank and coroded filler neck on my 99 Lumina. Now that I have finally gathered all the new parts is there anything special I should be aware of before I start? Also, is the fuel pump is held in place by a snapring or something similar? Any tips or advice is welcome.

Welcome to AF, go to autozone.com, repair guides, the procedure to replace the pump is the same as a 96-98 and would include dropping the tank.
