Is there a lot of room around the distributor on the Caprice with a 350? Right now the motor is out of my '87 and the new distributor I got for it is quite a bit bigger than the one that went with the electronic carb (which is being replaced). My problem is that with the motor out I don't know if there will be a problem fitting it back in with this new bigger distributor. Anybody got any good engine picks that show how much room is around their stock distributor?

It will fit in there, but it won't directly interface with either the electrical system or the computer.
