1995 GCL alarm problem

Third owner, don't know about changes in the car's past.
I got the original 2 buttons remote for dorrs lock/unlock and work fine.
I have another 2 buttons remote "autostart", start and stop car OK.
Alarm does not turn ON, only headlights flashes 1 or 2 pulses when pressed one or two times. Security light is not flashing at all, horn never beeps.
I can do about anything I want, the alarm never activates except when I open the hood and try to start, the headlights flashes and cannot start the car. I have to close the hood and unlock the driver's door to reset alarm, no horn again.
The autostart has a label, model AS-1230 year 1999.
Could this autostart not tied in the alarm system or else?
