I will tell you my trick to get a compressor really cheap
1. Get an empty "propane can" (like on a BBK) 10$
2. Get a Compressor for Bike Tire (I payd 15$ !)
3. Some adapter to make it fit.
4. Air regulator 20$
Now, when I want to paint, I fill the can to 100lbs, then I pait with my air brush.. No sound (compresor isn't running while you'r painting, but before) and it's very cheap
a compressor for airbrush can go 100$ to 250$... mine cost 50$
