dumb car hood pin questions

OK, I'm no expert, but I have the detail master photo etch car hood pins. I think the larger round plate goes on the exterior of hood (on top), and the smaller round plate goes? on body frame where hood sits? bottom of hood?

well thats your thought but to tell u the trueth its up to u ....cause its up to your scale the big ones are for hoods and the smaller ones i used on trunks or in small areas where the big ones dont look right thats my thought:smokin:

I second that thought too, had to take a look at the fret and it should be like that. Small and big ones.

Hello I know what's he talking about that's an older american style hood pin set. This type is for from the past till now NASCAR & to days NASTRUCK. You will see that type hes talking about on American muscle cars.
About where the Hole Plates go only one for the out side of the hood and yes the smaller ones' are for a lower scale or the trunck (UK style) but in the US the same size for the hood is the same for the trunck. you can put one under the hood if you want to but you dont have to.
Oh yeah the MCG one are the smallest don't get thim you can't put the end of the pin through the hold to small. I use the DM Hood pin set to.

I have gone back sins the first time I posted this car and painted the head lights silver gray. I didn't take any pic didnt think I need to.
