Hi, My van had great pick up power not until I put STP gas treatment. My car lost power for a while as it was going up on the hill, I smell rotten odor inside the car for a while. Now it has little power to pick up, and it runs fine, but on the hill it just doesn't give me enough power like before, and lots of heat comes from under the van from the front side. Please help, is there a gasket need to be replace or it needs converters?

Sounds like a clogged catalytic converter. You need to take it in for diagnosis. Could be fuel injectors, fuel filter, spark plugs, just about anything. I wouldn't think you damaged the engine but it should be resolved pronto before you do.
