So I have a strange one.

I was driving my 94 civic cx with a manual transmission and noticed a knocking noise (its pretty damn loud I dont think anyone could miss it) when I turn corners, mostly left.

Now I thought it was the CV or the steering rack smackin the CV. The strange thing is if I push in the clutch it doesnt make the noise!

Im not to concerned because I am about to do an engine swap but any thoughts on what that could be?

could be the CV, just not clicking under load (when the clutch is in) check the boots.
