Question is whats the crompression ratio limit for each octane grade. 87/89/93

Some of my cars are in the 9's and 10's but still run on regular 87.

I hope you mean in the 1/8th mile.

Over speculating the subject and you all got carried away when I said Some of my cars are in the 9's and 10's but still run on regular 87 that was the compression ratio like 9.3:1 and 10.0:1 but the engine's ecu will remap reading knock senors to retard the timing and prevent detonation with lower octance's on a car that requires premium, who said anything about a dragstrip.

the ECU wont 'remap' all it will do if it senses knock is retard the timing to the max and open up the injectors dumping as much fuel in as possible... its not smart and can damage your motor

I looked at my old posts for the first time and saw this, made it clear even though your all a year later lol. And that EF sedan is awfully ugly crash that thing or sell it for peanuts and get into the EG family, Crx and EF hatch's are cool if thats your interest. It's all about the EG hatchback's these days double wishbone, lightwieght and look good.
