Revell Dodge Charger srt8drnitrus 07-31-2007, 09:08 AM What up! Ive been wanting to mess with this kit since I got it. Its the revell uptown kit with the lambo doors. Soooo I decided to try and make this one a quick build. Pretty much box stock. They only change will be Im gonna use the tires from the fast and furious 350z. The sidewalls on the stock tires look a little too thick. So far I just cleaned up the body and layed down some metal specs orange. http://i121.photobucket.com/albums/o204/drnitrus/charger%20srt/DSCN3061.jpg http://i121.photobucket.com/albums/o204/drnitrus/charger%20srt/DSCN3063.jpg http://i121.photobucket.com/albums/o204/drnitrus/charger%20srt/DSCN3062.jpg janositamas 07-31-2007, 09:24 AM I like this color, I looks like the Copper Orange a bit to me what the Corvettes are painted. I also have seen Infinitis painted this color. It looks hot to me! :grinyes: drnitrus 07-31-2007, 04:40 PM Got some work done on this today. My batteries were almost dead so the pics arent all that but... http://i121.photobucket.com/albums/o204/drnitrus/charger%20srt/DSCN3068.jpg http://i121.photobucket.com/albums/o204/drnitrus/charger%20srt/DSCN3066.jpg http://i121.photobucket.com/albums/o204/drnitrus/charger%20srt/DSCN3067.jpg http://i121.photobucket.com/albums/o204/drnitrus/charger%20srt/DSCN3065.jpg http://i121.photobucket.com/albums/o204/drnitrus/charger%20srt/DSCN3064.jpg deltableh 07-31-2007, 04:54 PM Looking good, man. drnitrus 08-01-2007, 02:23 PM Thanks guys. Im hoping to have this one done by next week. drnitrus 08-07-2007, 08:24 AM Ok this one is just about done. Its a pretty simple kit. The only issues I have with this is the doors dont close very well and the trunk gets stuck against the rear window. I will probably open up the car and adjust all the screws to see if that helps with the little issues. Ill get some better pics once the sun is fully out. Anyways heres some pics. Let me know what you think!! http://i121.photobucket.com/albums/o204/drnitrus/charger%20srt/DSCN3082.jpg http://i121.photobucket.com/albums/o204/drnitrus/charger%20srt/DSCN3081.jpg http://i121.photobucket.com/albums/o204/drnitrus/charger%20srt/DSCN3080.jpg http://i121.photobucket.com/albums/o204/drnitrus/charger%20srt/DSCN3096.jpg http://i121.photobucket.com/albums/o204/drnitrus/charger%20srt/DSCN3095.jpg http://i121.photobucket.com/albums/o204/drnitrus/charger%20srt/DSCN3093.jpg http://i121.photobucket.com/albums/o204/drnitrus/charger%20srt/DSCN3091.jpg http://i121.photobucket.com/albums/o204/drnitrus/charger%20srt/DSCN3092.jpg M-Tuning 08-07-2007, 08:33 AM Really nice! janositamas 08-07-2007, 09:35 AM I have to say what I said earlier: it looks hot to me! I like the color and the agressive look it has! I like it! The shine is impressing! deltableh 08-07-2007, 03:16 PM Great work, man. Very groovy. drnitrus 08-08-2007, 11:38 AM Thanks everyone. As far as the shine. I used automotive clear on this one. I layed down one coat, wet sanded then layed down one more. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
