new fuel filter, plugs, wires, cap/rotor, coil.

runs fine when cold, 3 or 4 times a day it backfires when hot....wont go over 10mph when it happens. until i stop, turn it off for a few minutes, then it runs great for 30-60 minutes, then backfiring all over again until i repeat steps.

oh yeah, no codes...go figure.

any ideas gurus?

Your post makes me think exhaust restriction and I have seen posts about older cats getting clogged. Just a thought.
