My friend owns a tt300zx and we were chillin watching a street racing video, when all of a sudden, this guy has a sick 300- but it said 600zx-R on the back. whats the deal with that? I mean, we heard of a fairlaidy, of course, but that? can anyone help me out? thanks.

Officially there's nothing called by that name...it's probably something that he made up...signifying that he has close to 600HP...

p.s. the number ie. 300zx 350z, 240z, etc. are engine sizes, not horsepower ratings, it's just coincidence that on the newer ones (turbo'd, they're that amount)

Oh I know that's their displacement...dont need to tell me man...I've been around Nissan along time...I know Nissan doesnt make a 6.0 Liter...biggest they make is a 4.5 liter V8...so the 600 has to mean HP.

lol it has the honda type-R sticker at the end of that 600ZX ..hahaha thats pretty funny...lol They really riced out that Z, it makes me wana cry, i dont care how much horses it has under the hood. They made that Z look pretty ugly...i mean really! whats up with that wing?! it looks like a bench..i could sit on it!

hey i know theres no such thing as a 600zx-r but ive seen it a few time in europe and stuff so i think its womthing that there doing over there cause if you see em in europe they have a emblem and the R is also part of the emblem so its not a honda one just thought id put in my 2 cents but theres a few of em sooo yeah .......lata!

it could be a 6.0... maybe out of an old muscle car.

if i was keeping the z i just sold, there's no other plate i would get besides "660ZX", due to the 400ci chevy small block

believe me, 600zx's do exist.... i know because i just owned a 660zx. he could have had an ls engine swapped in.
