My jeep air bag light stayed on and the cruise control didn't work.
I changed the clockspring . This solved the problem for the air bag light but my crusie control still don't work. The crusie light will come but will not set the speed. Any suggestions?

Does the heater/a/c only blow through the defrost?
If so it has lost the vacuum; the HVAC mode doors and cruse control use the same vacuum source. Look for a cracked or disconnected vacuum hose in the engine compartment.

The air vents work like they should.

I have a 98 with exactly the same problem. Did you come up with a fix.

I have fixed the miss by changing the injector on #4 cylinder. I still can't find
the problem with the cruise control. I checked the switch with the OHM meter & I have no reading on the set side. It may be the switch.
