406 Lx Hdi (90) Error Code

Hi,

can anyone help me out on my car, i've got this problem it doesn't start up.

i brought a guy out to check with his computer and following error was shown on the computer.

Phase sensor or circuit open circuit to ground (http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&sa=X&oi=spell&resnum=0&ct=result&cd=1&q=Phase+sensor+or+circuit+open+circuit+to+ground&spell=1) or battery (Error code (0340/0190)

please help.
