Fog Light only switch conversion??? boodie 07-29-2007, 09:33 AM Has anyone traced out the fog light leads and converted the switch to on-off function??? OffroadX 07-29-2007, 03:26 PM You have to jumper or otherwise bypass a relay to do that, but the question is just why the hell would you want to? There's no reason whatsoever to run around with just the fog lights, unless of course you're actually in thick fog... boodie 08-19-2007, 05:01 PM ...why the hell would you want to? Have you ever driven in a snowfall at night??? Not driving snow, but just a steady thick snowfall...your headlights catch every flake and reflect the light right back to you...making visibility about 50 feet... But if you cut your headlights and drive with the auxiliary lights, your visibility is extended to a hundred yards or more... On a busy superhighway it may not be safe...but on my rural roads, with little or no traffic (especially at night in snow), it's practical...
