Hi all, I'm trying to compare the fuel economy of my T/A vs my 94 Grand Marquis. This is the info that I have found in different websites:
1998 T/A formula 5.7L v8 Fuel tank capacity= 15.5 gallons or 11 gallons? Some websites listed different, I think is 15.5.

MPG using regular fuel
city=17
highway=26

It says that my GM 1994 has:
fuel tank capacity= 20 gallons
MPG using regular fuel
city=16
highway=23

It seems that the T/A does better gas mileage but has a smaller fuel tank.
I'm just trying to see if is the same or better with my T/A since I just took a round trip from Orlando, Fl to St. Augustine, Fl and it used 5/8 of my fuel tank. I haven't tried the GM 94 yet for the same trip. Thanks in advance.

15.5 sounds right to me.

I got 30mpg with my Camaro before I put a cam in it. The tanks are 15.5 mpg if i remember right... the best way to increase gas mileage is to let it breath better... intake and exhaust...

Geez, this makes my v6 sound pathetic cause I'm only getting about 15.8 mpg out of it... :(
