1996 Buick Regal Custom 3.1L, Will it spin'em?96HOTRODREGAL 07-28-2007, 03:38 PM Hi all, here to ask a question about my regal I don't want to do it but I am curious, will a '96 Buick Regal Custom with a 3.1L spin the tires? How would you be able to do this, also, are there any quick tricks you can do to these cars to squeeze performance out of them? JeffMan 07-29-2007, 10:31 PM Any car is capable of spinning their tires with the right amount of traction (or lack there of). :) gangsterboat 07-30-2007, 12:11 PM Im not to sure it can spin them from a dead stop going straight...my 96 with the 3.8 cherps them from a stop...the easiest way to spin tires in a front wheel drive is to turn 90 degrees from a dead stop and put it to the floor should spin them then...due note that this is more then likely extremely hard on the car due to the angle of the u joints and such. You could also try from a stop going straight and set the parking brake. Mine will do this but drags the rear end. Easiest also is to wait for it to rain a bit or put bleach or oil on your tires...theres endless ways....as for extra power for your car best thing ive found is cold air intake (ebay)...and i found a company that said theyill reprogram my ecu to give me 18-23 more hp and 30ftlbs more torque and remove speed limiter, turns fans on faster, better shifting and more responsive...alto they want about 490 dollars to do it i think im going to. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
