2001 Rodeo Hot Start Problemskeff8 07-25-2007, 06:41 PM I have a 2001 Rodeo that runs fine most of the time. However, when the air tempurature get high, mid 90s or so and above, and I have been driving for a bit and turn the car off, it will not restart. Engine temp is normal and I have to wait usually 20 minutes before it will start again and then it runs fine. I initially thought vapor lock to be the cause but through casual conversation of others, they seem to knock that one. amigo-2k 07-25-2007, 08:08 PM Sound like a bad fuel presser regulator; kinda common on +98 isuzu's. If you are the first owner it is covered under the 10yr 120k warranty. More info can be found in the FAQ's skeff8 07-25-2007, 09:20 PM I appreciate the quick response. I will check it out. thanks again vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
